Interactive Packaging

Turning physical packaging into live digital touchpoints for Lyft, MAC Cosmetics, and Loaf using QR-driven content platforms.

Interactive Packaging

We worked with Lyft, MAC Cosmetics, and Loaf on smart packaging platforms where physical products became dependent on digital systems for post-purchase interaction, education, and engagement. These platforms needed to operate reliably at scale, across regions, and without friction at the point of use.

As packaging became a live digital touchpoint, continuity, uptime, and predictable behaviour were essential. The work focused on ensuring these systems could be relied upon as part of everyday customer interaction, rather than treated as short-term campaigns.

What we built

We assumed operational responsibility for stabilising QR-driven packaging platforms and the supporting content infrastructure. Dynamic QR systems were implemented to allow content updates without reprinting, while ensuring consistent performance across mobile environments and geographic regions.

Delivery prioritised reliability, clarity, and long-term maintainability, allowing organisations to manage product-linked digital content as an operational system rather than a series of isolated activations.

Operational insight

Operational reporting focused on system behaviour rather than marketing optimisation. Metrics captured scan reliability, usage consistency, and content performance to ensure platforms remained dependable under real-world conditions.

This provided teams with confidence that smart packaging systems could be maintained, adjusted, and scaled without introducing disruption or uncertainty into customer-facing operations.
